Randhir Shinde – Chief Technology Officer
Previous to IA Randhir established Kalpadrum Infotech and Kalpadrum Exports companies which grew rapidly and achieved a reputation for technical excellence and outstanding customer service.
Amongst the numerous projects which Randhir has driven was the development of a vision system that analysed and detected Non-Filled medicinal packages in the pharmaceutical industry. Some of the top pharmaceutical companies have deployed this system including Ranbaxy, Cipla, Pfizer, Novartis and Dr. Reddys Lab. It was this work that pioneered the early development of IA.
Randhir was also instrumental in a development for the TATA group of automobile companies. This project involved the development of a Vision System to detect missing Bearing Shells in the manufacturing of Engines. Additionally he has worked on the DALP/odbcX technology, an open source technology that allows devices like Pocket PC, Palm and Symbian platforms to remotely connect to database servers like MSSQL, Oracle, and MySQL etc. This enables applications to fire SQL queries directly to database servers.
Currently there are more than 100 applications in the market based on this technology. In 2003 Randhir’s company received Best Business Application award from Handango. |
