Securus Software Limited is a wholly owned UK Company and is the developer of a desktop monitoring solution, which enables early identification of bad behaviour traits, and issues such as bullying, racism and predator grooming. Securus searches for inappropriate words and phrases in all applications and monitors for harmful activities, whether pupils and teachers are online using the internet or working offline in other applications. It provides evidence for teachers with screen shots captured every time a violation occurs, saved with details of the user, workstation, time, date and nature of the incident with the intent to provide evidence in disciplinary circumstances. The solution is designed to detect, record and report violations on a PC network that fall outside a school's Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). Securus Software Limited is committed to protecting vulnerable pupils, and through the application of Securus is providing schools with the means to eliminate the cyberbullying, racism, sexually explicit material and other forms of misbehaviour, harassment and activities that take place on computer networks and classroom PCs. |
