Non-invasive technology
Image Analyzer is targeted solely to identify pornographic content, and has a low rate of false positives. It is intended as a powerful filtering tool and is optimised when deployed in conjunction with manual inspection. It will not disturb the appropriate content on the site, and will largely be invisible to existing subscribers.
Simple integration and adaptable output customisation
Image Analyzer has been specifically developed to integrate into existing IT security software and hardware environments, and supports all major operating systems. The software can be deployed at the desktop, gateway, server or Internet level offering ‘best of breed’ protection quickly and accurately.
The Image Analyzer engine is capable of scanning images direct from files or preloaded images in the memory. The engine provides functionality to pass file paths and also a memory buffer. It requires only 20MB of memory in addition to cache memory required for loading.
A simple percentage based system is recommended to allow individual user policies and traffic types to be accommodated. The technology is not 100% accurate but is optimized to provide low false positives and high accuracy levels in quickly and correctly identifying pornography.
